Currently in third season as the Athletic Performance Coach for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Prior to joining the
Thunder staff, he spent one season as the Athletic Performance Coach for the Thunder’s G-League affiliate, the
Oklahoma City Blue. Before joining the Oklahoma City Thunder organization, Hyde spent two seasons with the
St.Louis Cardinals organization as a strength and conditioning coach with their Triple-A affiliate, the Memphis
Redbirds. Previously, Hyde served five years as the Director of Strength & Conditioning for Southwestern
Oklahoma State University, overseeing 13 NCAA sports, including football.

Graduate of Westmoore High School in Oklahoma City, OK
Earned an associate degree at Rose State (Okla.) Community College where he was a member of the baseball team
Transferred to SWOSU in 2008 where he was a pitcher on the Bulldogs team
Earned bachelor’s in Exercise Science and a Master’s in Sports Management
Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association
Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association.
Sports Performance Certified (USAW-SPC) through United States of America Weightlifting Association
Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine Functional Movement Screen
(FMS) & Y-Balance (YBT) certified through Functional Movement Systems
