Golden State Warrior
Kyle Barbour, is entering his ninth year with the Warriors organization and second as performance coach. Barbour spent four seasons as the athletic performance coach for the Santa Cruz Warriors after serving two seasons as the assistant athletic performance coach for the Golden State Warriors. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and registered strength and conditioning coach (RSCC) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Previously, Barbour worked in professional baseball as a strength and conditioning coach in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization and with the MLB International Envoy program, overseeing the development of strength and conditioning programs in Italy, the Netherlands, and Sweden. He also spent time at the collegiate level working as a strength and conditioning intern/coach at the University of Notre Dame. Barbour is a native of San Diego and earned his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology with an emphasis in fitness, nutrition and health from San Diego State University and a Master’s in Kinesiology from California State University East Bay.
