Tyler Yeaton is a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Boston Celtics. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) as well as a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He completed his undergrad degree Health and Exercise Science from Messiah College. He completed his graduate degree Master of High Sport Performance from Australian Catholic University. He has completed many continued education courses and certifications in coaching, training and high performance in addition.
Before working for the Boston Celtics as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, Ty worked as a coach for a performance training company in New Hampshire working with a wide range of clients and athletes.
Ty began working with the Boston Celtics by splitting his time as an Strength and Conditioning Assistant for Boston and as the Head Strength Coach for the Maine Red Claws, Boston’s G-League team. After two seasons splitting time between the two organizations, Ty was hired full-time by Boston. Ty is now responsible for year round performance strength and conditioning program design as well as daily implementation of the programing (performance, recovery and rehabilitation) with the athletes.
Ty resides in southern New Hampshire with his wife Alyssa and new daughter Layla.
