Michael Davie is a senior strength and conditioning coach with the Milwaukee Bucks. Michael joins the Buck’s organization after preparing the United Kingdom’s senior women’s national team for the EuroBasket tournament in 2015.
Michael worked in the Australian Institute of Sport system for 8 years. During his time at the Queensland Academy of Sport Michael was responsible for numerous Olympic caliber field, court and aquatic sport athletes, resulting in multiple Olympic and World Championship medals. A career highlight for Michael was being selected as the head strength and conditioning coach for the Australian Swimming team for multiple world championships and the London Olympic games.
The Australian native earned his Bachelor of Applied Science from QUT in Brisbane, Australia and a masters in Exercise Science from Edith Cowan university in Perth, Australia. Michael is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Level 2 Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA), and a level 2 weightlifting coach with the Australian Weightlifting Association (AWF).
Michael resides in Milwaukee with his wife Diana and five children, Jayden, Chanelle, Dylan, Jacom and Malachi.
