Cal Dietz

Cal Dietz is the Associate Director of Athletic Performance and Head Olympic Strength Coach at the University of Minnesota, where he has guided numerous NCAA championship teams and All-American athletes across multiple sports since 2000. He is the creator of the Triphasic Training method, a systematic approach to developing speed, strength, and explosive power through distinct training phases. Dietz has consulted with Olympic and world champions, as well as professional athletes in the NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB, MMA, and boxing. He holds a Master’s in Kinesiology and has authored books, delivered presentations worldwide, and contributed extensively to the strength and conditioning profession.
