Isaiah Wright

Erik is an assistant sports performance coach for the Indiana Pacers and the head sports performance coach for their G-League affiliate, the Mad Ants. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in sport and exercise science. Prior to working in professional basketball, Erik served as the Director of Performance at Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training (IFAST) for three and a half years. Before joining IFAST he held a number of internship positions across the country, including; Indiana University Men’s Basketball, Texas Tech University Men’s Basketball, Fitness Quest 10 San Diego, and the National Institute for Fitness and Sport. 

 

Erik is a Certified Performance and Sport Scientist (CPSS) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through the American College of Sports Medicine. He received his Masters degree in sports performance and injury prevention and Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology.
