Juan Aquino currently serves as the Lead Performance Scientist for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Aquino received Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Nova Southeastern University as well as a Master’s of Kinesiology with an emphasis in Human Performance from the University of Florida.

Prior to working for Cleveland Cavaliers, Aquino was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach the Cleveland Charge, the NBA G League affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers, for one season. Aquino also worked at the University of Wyoming and Duke University as a Strength & Conditioning coach within the Olympic sports department.

Aquino is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio.
