Stephen is a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Philadelphia 76ers. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) as well as a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach with Distinction (RSCC*D) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is also a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach (MSCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa); a distinction only given to those with a CSCCa certification and 12 years of full time collegiate or professional experience.

Prior to joining the 76ers Brindle worked with the Milwaukee Bucks organization as Head G League Strength for the Wisconsin Herd and Assistant Strength Coach with the Bucks during the 2021-2022 season. He also has NFL experience as he completed an internship with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018. Stephen worked in the college sector previously as Head of Basketball Performance at the University of Pennsylvania coaching men’s and women’s basketball. He also worked with football, track and field and numerous other teams at Penn from 2010-2021.  Brindle also had stints working with the University of Pittsburgh (2009), Velocity Sports Performance (2005-2006) and the University of Hawaii where he interned in 2005. He was a Grad Assistant Coach at Temple University from 2007-2009 where he earned a Master’s in Kinesiology. Brindle did his undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware graduating in 2005 with a degree in Health and Exercise Sciences.
