Misha Cavaye enters his 8th season with the South Bay Lakers as strength and conditioning coach in 2023-24. A native of London, England, Misha has an extensive history with the Los Angeles Lakers organization, having served as an assistant equipment manager with the team since 2011 & previously having the roles of massage therapist and equipment manager of the South Bay Lakers to his role of strength and conditioning coach.
On top of his Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist licensing, Misha is also a licensed massage therapist & holds certifications from Postural Restoration Institute, Myodetox, Functional Anatomy Seminars, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization & Neurokinetic Therapy, as well as many others. He is a graduate with a BS in Kineseology from Cal State Northridge and has a MA in coaching from Concordia University. Misha has completed internships in strength & conditioning from Cal State Northridge, USC, has also interned as a video coordinator for Cal State Northridge men’s basketball & has also worked in the private sector as well specializing in posture management, breathing & Myofascial release.
